Man.. I don't know what it up with my car. I have been noticing it smoke out the tail-pipe under acceleration for the past week or two now. Even my girlfriend driving behind me told me my car was smoking. Then after my 30psi fiasco the other day I was a little worried. Still smoking today.
So I decided to do a compression test. The first one in prolly over a year. Man.... The results were:
#1: 235
#2: 235
#3: 240
#4: 235
WTF... After two years and 35K miles of hard boosting on my stock engine. It still has perfect compression. I don't understand it. I was all ready to build it next weekend with some Crower rods and forged pistons, etc, etc. But no.... motor has to be fine. When will this thing wear down!!??!
I suspect the smoking is coming from an exhaust side turbo seal.

Has the new thermal 3" exhaust reduce turbo spool up considerably?
Raise the boost levels until one of the ring lands fail. Then it's build up time!

My car has over 138,000 miles, over 40K supercharged driven like a mad man every day and my compression is still at a rock solid 215psi all around. (94 GSR).
I credit careful tuning, and oil changes oil changes oil changes. Did I mention oil changes?

Well you cant say mark has "tuned" his car. We just put the turbo on and thats it. He has never been to a dyno to tune it or anything. I envy you Mark. I think its knowing what to look for that has saved his motor.
So far I've put alot of miles on Turbo Gsr driving from Dallas to San Antonio and houston then back to dallas. I like to travel the small state of Texas.
BTW, mark let me stop by killen this weekend so I can show you Aaron's dyno.

I give you props for that. I is a sign of good tuning and a good setup that works. I wish everybody could have the same experience as you. Maybe the gas you get is of a higher quality? Yah I saw your other post and I would head to Home Depot and get some $2 bag zip-ties for all those vac/pressure hoses

She has treated me well that is for sure.
and yes-sir-ee Zip. I have a ball-bearing .50-trim (kinda large) t3/t04e with a .48 A/R exh. housing (tight for fast spool-up) and I swear I get full freakin 7psi of boost at 2200RPM. It is rather insane. That is why I had 30+psi at about 4000RPM.
Yeah bring the dyno by Art. 345whp at 14psi with the most basic of setups. Man I need to build my motor!
